1. What is the differences between pre-galvanized steel and hot-dip galvanized steel?
Pre-galvanized steel products are manufactured using steel coils that have already been coated with zinc in a continuous line before being shaped or welded. This typically results in a thinner zinc coating (Z60-Z120) with a very smooth, uniform appearance. Hot-dip galvanizing, on the other hand, involves dipping the fabricated steel structure (like finished pipes or brackets) into a molten zinc kettle, creating a much thicker zinc alloy coating (Z275-Z600) with superior protection for heavy outdoor/marine exposure.
