As a leading supplier in North China, Tianjin Minjie Steel Co., Ltd operates a modernized factory of over 70,000 square meters. Strategically situated only 40 kilometers from XinGang Port (Tianjin)—the most vital industrial marine trade portal in Northern China—we provide seamless logistical integration, reducing transit times and minimizing structural shipping risks for buyers worldwide.
Our plant houses a top-tier layout consisting of:
• 4 Pre-Galvanized Production Lines providing high-speed uniformity in zinc coating thicknesses.
• 8 ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) Pipe Lines for structural dimensional accuracy.
• 3 Hot-Dipped Galvanized Process Lines designed for heavy-duty protection requirements.
This massive capability allows us to maintain an annual output exceeding 300,000 tons, assuring dynamic procurement fulfillment for major structural projects.
Our layout operates 4 pre-galvanized product lines, 8 ERW line installations, and 3 hot-dipped zinc bath cells. This lets us easily deliver large volume scale orders for international builders.
We are not just a manufacturer; we are innovators. We hold 3 specific utility patents: Groove Pipe, Shoulder Pipe, and Victaulic Pipe configurations designed to facilitate rapid coupling assembly.
Being 40km away from Tianjin Xingang port translates directly to reduced internal freight cost structures and optimized logistics handling before container load configurations depart.
Our 70,000+ sqm heavy manufacturing plant footprint.
Sourced from key Tier-1 domestic steel mills for optimum chemistry.
Continuous square and rectangular cold-forming mills.
Hexagonal strapping and anti-corrosive oiling treatments.
Pre-galvanized square and rectangular tubes provide the optimal compromise between corrosion protection and weldability, making them suitable for many infrastructure, agricultural, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
Used extensively in steel constructions, frames, fencing systems, handrails, solar photovoltaic brackets, and light-gauge steel framing where structural stiffness and clean surface coatings are required.
The protective zinc barrier makes these tubes ideal for greenhouse frame configurations. They withstand high interior humidity and exposure to fertilizers without peeling or premature rusting.
Suitable for agricultural machinery chassis, container inner structures, protective cabs, industrial racks, and furniture components that require tight dimensional tolerances.

The global steel tube manufacturing industry is shifting toward materials that offer higher yield strengths with lighter wall thicknesses, reducing overall logistics and handling costs. Our engineering R&D focus is driving pre-galvanized solutions forward in several key areas:
Our production lines apply inline induction seam welding followed by zinc metallization processes to restore corrosion resistance along the welded seam, ensuring uniform rust protection around the entire tube profile.
By forming hollow sections using high-strength pre-galvanized steel (such as Q355 or ASTM Grade C equivalents), we allow engineers to reduce wall thicknesses while maintaining structural load capacities.
We are scaling up production of Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium (ZAM) coated tubes. ZAM coatings provide up to three times the corrosion resistance of traditional galvanized coatings, offering self-healing properties on cut edges.
In response to international environmental regulations, Tianjin Minjie has adopted trivalent chromium passivation and chromium-free chemistry. This ensures compliance with EU RoHS and REACH regulations, facilitating smoother custom clearances for infrastructure projects in Europe and North America.
Enterprise procurement departments must evaluate structural steel suppliers on parameters beyond unit price. Below is a comparative guide showing how our pre-galvanized square and rectangular tubes align with major international standard systems:
| Standard Spec | Regions | Dimensional & Wall Tolerances | Chemical Composition Focus | Quality Assurance Protocols |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ASTM A500 / A500M | Americas, Global | Wall thickness ±10%, Outer dimensions ±0.75% max | Low Carbon (max 0.26%), high weldability | Flattening tests, tension tests, dimensional audits |
| EN 10219-1/2 | European Union | Tolerances on circularity, straightness (0.15%), and mass | Restricted CEV (Carbon Equivalent Value) limits | Charpy V-notch impact tests, visual and eddy current tests |
| JIS G3466 | Japan, Southeast Asia | Side flatness tolerances, precise corner radius specs | Strict phosphorus and sulfur control (under 0.040%) | Tensile test, hydrostatic test, bending checks |
• Mill Test Certificate (MTC): Provided with every shipment in accordance with EN 10204 3.1, declaring chemical ladle analysis and mechanical properties.
• Corner Radius Control: Optimized cold-forming radii prevent stress concentrations and micro-cracking at the corners of square/rectangular tubes.
• Traceability: Every tube bundle is tagged with heat numbers, tracking material quality from the steel coil stage to the finished product.
Over the past two decades, we have developed a robust compliance system to support buyers navigating localized technical standards, customs regulations, and import tariffs in diverse markets.
Our operations are ISO 9001 certified. We regularly accommodate third-party pre-shipment inspections (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek) to verify zinc thickness, wall thickness, and dimensional accuracy.
We work closely with global shipping lines to offer flexible CIF, FOB, or DDU/DDP terms. We help navigate local anti-dumping duties by providing correct documentation and HS code classifications.
We host customer visits annually, helping establish long-term partnerships with buyers from Singapore, South Korea, Australia, India, and the Middle East.
Slitting wide coils to precise strip widths for forming.
Sorted inventory ready for export container stuffing.
Seaworthy packaging to prevent moisture and white rust during transport.
Precision welding for clean joints and straight seams.

In addition to pre-galvanized hollow sections, our product portfolio includes hot-dipped coil variants and structural profiles for diverse engineering applications.
Hot dipped galvanized and pre-painted steel coils and strips.
Hot-dipped, pre-galvanized, and zinc-aluminum round piping options.
Square and rectangular profiles for heavy machinery frames.
Hot rolled equal and unequal galvanized steel angles.
Pre-galvanized tubes are manufactured from steel strips that have already been continuously hot-dip galvanized before cold-forming. This process creates a very smooth, uniform, and thin zinc layer (typically 40g/m² to 120g/m²). Post-hot-dip galvanization involves dipping finished black steel tubes into liquid zinc, resulting in a thicker, less uniform coating (often exceeding 300g/m²) designed for harsher outdoor applications.
During high-frequency ERW welding, the zinc coating at the seam is burned off. To restore protection, we utilize inline thermal zinc-spraying metallization. This sprays molten zinc directly onto the weld seam immediately after cooling, restoring its corrosion resistance.
The main standards are ASTM A500 (for North American structural applications, graded A, B, or C), EN 10219 (European standard for cold-formed welded structural hollow sections), and JIS G3466 (Japanese standard for structural square/rectangular tubes). We manufacture and certify products to all three standard systems.
Cold forming increases the yield strength of the steel through work hardening, particularly at the corners of the profile. However, this process slightly reduces ductility. We select high-quality carbon steel coils to ensure our finished tubes maintain an optimal balance of structural strength and toughness.
We apply clear passivation treatments to the galvanized surface and offer oil protection. Bundles are tightly wrapped with anti-corrosive coverings and packed with desiccants inside shipping containers to control moisture levels.
