Direct supply from state-of-the-art manufacturing lines to international engineering projects.
The modern construction industry demands safer, more efficient, and durable temporary access solutions. Echafaudage (scaffolding) systems have evolved from simple wooden scaffolding systems into highly engineered structural steel setups. High-strength carbon steel, optimized with protective zinc coatings, forms the backbone of infrastructure projects worldwide.
As cities expand and high-rise developments demand rigorous structural compliance, scaffolding suppliers are forced to upgrade their design capabilities. Sourcing high-quality raw materials, maintaining tight tolerance levels, and complying with global engineering standards (such as BS 1387, EN 10219, and ASTM requirements) are no longer optional—they are critical to ensuring structural safety.
The market is rapidly shifting toward modular ringlock systems due to their superior load-bearing capacity and fast assembly speeds.
Hot-dip galvanization and advanced zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy coatings are replacing traditional paints to extend scaffolding lifespan to over 15 years.
How international procurement managers assess security, load distribution, and life-cycle costs.
Scaffolding components rely on specific carbon steel grades. Q195 steel offers excellent weldability for minor components, whereas Q235B and Q345B high-tensile steels provide structural rigidity for vertical standards, horizontal ledgers, and heavy-duty adjustable steel props.
Exposed to maritime climates or humid industrial environments, raw steel degrades rapidly. Tianjin Minjie Steel implements continuous pre-galvanization and deep hot-dip galvanization processes, creating a uniform zinc barrier that resists oxidation and abrasive wear.
Large infrastructure works require validated third-party certifications. Our manufacturing lines operate under ISO 9001 quality guidelines, ensuring tight dimensional tolerances, flawless weld structures, and consistent load testing protocols.
Established in 1998, Tianjin Minjie Steel Co., Ltd. spans a modern facility of over 70,000 square meters. Our strategic location—just 40 kilometers from XingGang Port, the largest maritime hub in Northern China—allows us to optimize transport speeds, streamline container loading, and reduce overall freight costs.
Our facility features an advanced steel processing ecosystem, including 4 pre-galvanized lines, 8 ERW steel pipe lines, and 3 hot-dipped galvanized process lines. This specialized configuration delivers an annual output exceeding 300,000 tons of structural steel and scaffolding products. By controlling the complete manufacturing process from raw steel coils to the finished scaffolding system, we guarantee unmatched supply chain resilience.

Our focus on metallurgy and design has secured three proprietary utility patents.

To improve joint strength and installation speed, Tianjin Minjie Steel has secured three key design patents: groove pipe connection configurations, shoulder pipe couplings, and victaulic piping systems.
These specialized profiles minimize lateral load deflection under heavy weight. In structural scaffolding, these design optimizations reduce sway and ensure safer load distribution on vertical structural props.
Key information regarding structural steel grades, coating standards, and manufacturing lead times.
For vertical structural standards and ledgers, Q235B and Q345B carbon steels are recommended due to their optimal yield strength (235 MPa and 345 MPa respectively). For auxiliary parts or secondary braces, Q195 steel provides excellent ductility and weldability, making it the ideal choice.
Pre-galvanized pipes are formed from steel coils that have been continuously zinc-coated before forming, offering a smooth finish with a typical zinc coating of 60–120 g/m². Hot-Dip Galvanizing (HDG) occurs after structural fabrication, immersing the entire component into molten zinc to achieve a coating thicker than 500 g/m² (over 70 microns). HDG is recommended for high-humidity, marine, or chemical environments.
We process customized steel dimensions, wall thicknesses (such as our 1.8mm square tubes), and specialty finishes like powder-coated or painted tubing. Our technical advisors translate client drafts into manufacturing files, ensuring compatibility with BS 1387, EN 10219, or ASTM A252 standard requirements.
Located just 40 kilometers from XingGang Port (Tianjin), the largest port in Northern China, we minimize inland transit times. This proximity reduces shipping fees, protects our products from prolonged overland vibrations, and accelerates export Customs clearance.
We run high-frequency induction welding (ERW) alongside real-time ultrasonic scanning on our 8 ERW lines. This process prevents interior seam defects. We also perform regular flattening and load-bearing tests to ensure our scaffolding components can support specified capacities.
Standard orders, such as 48.3mm scaffolding tubes or adjustable props, typically ship within 20 to 30 days after deposit validation. Our annual output of 300,000 tons allows us to process high-volume orders with consistent dispatch timelines.
