Why is Hot-Dip Galvanization (HDG) preferred over Pre-Galvanization for scaffolding?

Pre-galvanization uses steel sheet strips that are galvanized prior to being rolled and welded into tubes. Pre-galvanized tubes have an exposed internal weld seam and a much thinner zinc layer (typically 8-15 microns), making HDG far superior for high-humidity, marine, and long-term external construction sites.
