Serbia has rapidly developed into the primary logistical and manufacturing hub of the Western Balkans. Fueled by heavy infrastructure developments such as the Pan-European Corridor X, the Belgrade-Budapest high-speed railway, and the rapid expansion of manufacturing corridors in Kragujevac and Niš, the national consumption of structural steel plate and coated steel coils has registered historic high rates of growth.
Because Serbian structural projects follow stringent EN European standards (such as EN 10025 for hot-rolled products and EN 10346 for galvanized coils), regional supply chains are forced to source from manufacturers capable of offering certified chemical-physical traces, precise mechanical tolerances, and reliable anti-corrosion grades like Z275.
Established in 1998, Tianjin Minjie Steel Co., Ltd. has developed into a premier manufacturing and export enterprise for heavy steel components and coils. Covering a massive facility footprint of over 70,000 square meters, the plant is strategically positioned just 40 kilometers from XinGang Port (Tianjin)—the largest maritime gateway in Northern China—guaranteeing rapid load-out cycles and optimized oceanic freight paths to European container hubs.
Minjie Steel operates highly modernized production lines including 4 pre-galvanized manufacturing units, 8 High-Frequency Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) pipe lines, and 3 hot-dip galvanizing lines. All operations strictly adhere to international parameters: GB, ASTM, DIN, JIS under the supervision of our ISO9001 quality management framework. Beyond simple steel sheets, our structural line covers pre-galvanized steel pipe, hot-dip galvanized pipe, welded steel pipe, square & rectangular structural tubes, and modular scaffolding assemblies.
By implementing closed-loop automated zinc-pot temperature monitoring systems, we maintain custom thickness consistency across coils. Our DX51D and Z275 plates exhibit structural uniformity from edge to edge, reducing failure rates during high-velocity roll-forming and stamping operations.
Utilizing high-speed air knives coupled with real-time laser gauge scanners, our prepainted (PPGI) lines achieve highly precise paint dry film thicknesses (DFT) ranging from 15µm to 35µm. This guarantees UV stability under direct sun exposure in Southern Europe.
Each batch of cold-rolled steel coils, PPGI, or structural plates is assigned a unique tracking code from casting to cold reductions. This translates to absolute E-E-A-T alignment: Mill Test Certificates (MTCs) according to EN 10204 3.1 are delivered with every export container.
Serbia's intensive road and rail constructions demand high yield-strength carbon steel plates (Q235B and Q345B). These plates are used for structural base plates, railway noise barriers, bridge support assemblies, and drainage systems. The hot-dip galvanized coating ensures a design life exceeding 25 years without requiring secondary maintenance coating applications.
For the automotive manufacturing supply chain in Central Serbia, cold-rolled sheets and deep-drawing quality steel coils (DX51D) provide the high surface quality and formability required for stampings, enclosure brackets, and structural framing. Precision tolerances on thickness variation avoid mechanical tooling wear in stamping presses.
The agricultural heartlands of northern Serbia rely heavily on modern glasshouses and multi-span plastic-covered greenhouses. Tianjin Minjie's structural pre-galvanized pipes and high-zinc Z275 steel sheets prevent rapid corrosion caused by fertilizer vapors and constant high humidity inside agricultural systems.
Our commitment to rigorous testing and commercial reliability is recognized by procurement officers worldwide. From South East Asia to the Middle East, our technical teams travel to visit client facilities, audit structural assemblies, and ensure that our materials match local construction standards.
Every year, Tianjin Minjie presents its latest metallurgical developments at the Canton Fair and international steel exhibitions. During these meetings, over 80% of our new partners schedule site inspections of our Tianjin factory to witness our strict laboratory tests, including salt-spray chamber testing, tensile strength calibration, and zinc adhesion tests (cup test).
This transparent process allows our European clients, particularly those from Serbia, Hungary, and Romania, to proceed with full confidence regarding material performance and regulatory certifications.
Tianjin Minjie’s structural materials are tested and certified to ensure flawless performance under stressful environmental conditions. Our laboratory is equipped with computerized mechanical testing equipment, verifying physical metrics prior to shipment:
